Continuous Rubber Modified Asphalt Equipment
EQUIPMENT INTRODUCTION
This plant is specially designed to produce crumb rubber modified asphalt (asphalt rubber-AR). It is typically composed of two main components: a mobile mixing unit that initially mixes ground rubber with hot asphalt, and a mobile reaction tank that both agitates and stores the mixture. The mixing unit is mainly composed of asphalt heating tank, mixing tank with high-shear mixer, crumb rubber hopper with rotary feeder and load cells, asphalt pumping and metering system, AR pumping system, additives feeding and metering system, Burner and hot oil heating system, pneumatic system, control system, generators, etc.The reaction tank is mainly composed of four vertical agitators, Burner and hot oil heating system, AR pumping system, control box, etc.

Equipped with high-quality frequency converter to accurately control and meter the quantity of asphalt, crumb rubber and additives, to ensure materials proportion.

The mixing tank is equipped with high-shear mixer and liquid-level detecting device to automatic adjust mixture level.

Asphalt pumping system is equipped with gear pump. All asphalt pump and pipelines are equipped with hot oil heating jacket.

Asphalt heating system is equipped with auto-control diesel Burner, which can quickly heating asphalt up to the required temperature.

The reaction tank is equipped with four high-efficiency agitators which can forcedly agitate asphalt rubber to promote reaction of asphalt and rubber and to guarantee mixture uniformly and no-segregation.
